He also performs electromyography and nerve conduction studies (EMG/NCS).
Dr. Curry is originally from Charleston, South Carolina. Upon enlisting in the United States Navy, he was initially stationed in San Diego and immediately felt drawn to the charm of the city; he considers San Diego one of the greatest cities in the country. Following military service, he returned to South Carolina where he attended the College of Charleston for undergraduate studies. He attained his Doctor of Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina. He completed both his internship and residency training in PM&R at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC where he was appointed Chief Resident of his department and also presented with his department’s EMG Academic Award. He then further specialized by completing a PM&R Interventional Spine Medicine Fellowship at the highly-regarded University of California, Los Angeles, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is Board Certified through the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
